LIGHTING / DEVICES

Lighting, fixtures and devices

Straightforward work, priced straightforwardly. Most of these are an hour or two, and Redstar would rather drive across Tahlequah for a ceiling fan than send you looking for somebody else.

What lighting and fixtures in Tahlequah covers

  • Light fixture replacement
  • Ceiling fan installation
  • Outlets and switches
  • Breaker replacement
  • Adding circuits for appliances
  • Exterior and security lighting

Straight answer

Most of these are an hour or two, which is exactly why they are hard to get done: an outfit chasing panel changes will not send somebody out for a fan. Redstar takes them because a fixture today is a rewire in four years, and because somebody has to.

What a visit looks like

  1. Tell us what you want installed or replaced and where. A photo of the spot helps.
  2. We bring the common parts. If you have bought the fixture already, have it on site.
  3. Installed, tested, and the old one taken away if you want it gone. Usually one visit.

What moves the price

  • How many. Five fixtures in one visit cost less each than five visits.
  • What is behind the wall. A new circuit for a range or a dryer is more than a swap on an existing one.
  • Ceiling height and access. A fan on a vaulted ceiling is a different job from one in a bedroom.

The number itself comes from a written estimate after somebody has looked at the job. Ask on the phone and you get told what the call-out is before anybody drives.
