Eligible for Indian preference on projects proposed by the Cherokee Nation and its entities.

What the certification means if you are the one hiring.

Redstar is a Native-owned business, and TERO certification is what allows the company to be awarded tribal project work, including for Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. The owner and the company's history are on the About page.

Redstar has held it since 2024 and recertifies every year, which means a bid from us does not create a compliance problem further down your paperwork.

  • Eligible for tribal contract and sub work
  • Recertified annually, not a one-time badge
  • The owner runs the work, not a rotating crew
  • One year warranty on completed work

Scope

What we take on.

Residential and commercial. That is the whole book, and keeping it that way is a choice.

  • Ground-up commercial construction
  • Multi-unit and duplex builds
  • Ball field and site lighting
  • Restaurant and retail build-outs
  • Tenant improvements
  • Service and maintenance contracts

Current and recent

The kind of job this is.

  • A skid steer and open excavation on a street-side job site

    Ground-up site work

Trenching, feeders and the underground that everything else waits on, including ball field and site lighting. Work that has to clear before a season starts, coordinated with everything else on site.

  • Device boxes mounted on steel studs during rough-in, with the framing open

    Multi-unit residential

Duplex builds run as a set rather than one at a time. Repeatable rough-in, repeatable trim, and inspections that do not hold the handover.

  • Pendant and recessed lighting in a finished cafe interior

    Restaurant and retail build-outs

Kitchen and equipment loads, the service to carry them, and the underground that usually comes with a ground-up build. Finished and handed over.

Every photograph on this page is Redstar's own work. None of it is stock.

How we bid

A bid you can build a schedule on.

Send the plans or the scope and Redstar walks the site before pricing it. What comes back is a written bid with the scope and the schedule laid out, so the general contractor and the owner are working from the same document from day one.

The owner runs the work himself, which means the electrician who bid the job is the one on site for the rough-in, the inspection and the handover.

What commercial work covers
  1. Send the scope Plans, a spec, or a description. Whatever you have is enough to start.
  2. We walk it The site gets looked at in person before a number goes on paper.
  3. You get a bid you can build a schedule on Scope, schedule and the sequence with the other trades, all in writing.

Where we bid

About 50 miles around Tahlequah.

Commercial work travels further than a service call does. If the project is worth the drive, ask.

Send us the plans.
